Broken Today is free to use. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

What the site shows

Every status on Broken Today comes from the service's own public status page, which we read every 2 minutes. We do not test the services ourselves. That means:

A service can be down for you while its status page, and therefore this site, still says it works.
Statuses can be a few minutes behind, and a status page that cannot be reached is shown as "No data".
Incident titles and updates are the vendors' own words, shortened in places. Each page links to the official status page, which is the source to rely on.

We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of the listed companies. Their names and logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to identify each service.

No guarantee

The site and the e-mail alerts are provided as they are, without any warranty that they are complete, correct, timely or always available. Do not use them as the only source for decisions where a delay or a mistake could cause harm or loss. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any damage that results from using or relying on the site. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.

E-mail alerts

Alerts are a free extra. We send one e-mail when a service you chose reports a problem and one when it reports that everything works again. Mails can arrive late or not at all, and we may change or stop the alerts at any time. Sign up only with an address you control; every mail has an unsubscribe link. What we store is described in the privacy policy.

Fair use

You may link to any page and embed the status badges from the service pages on your own site.
Reasonable automated reading of the pages is fine. Do not send so many requests that the site slows down for others, and do not try to get around its limits or break it.
Do not use the alert form to sign up other people.

We may block traffic that harms the site.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and using the site after a change means you accept it. Czech law applies.
