No. No widespread outage. 20 of the 363 services we watch report problems, which is normal on any day, and the big cloud and network providers look fine.

Why are so many websites down at the same time?

Most sites and apps rent their servers, network and security from a handful of providers - Cloudflare, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure. When one of them has a bad hour, thousands of services that look unrelated fail together. Their own status pages often admit the problem later than the provider's does.

Everything is down for me, but this page says it works. What now?

Then the problem is probably closer to you: restart your router, try mobile data instead of Wi-Fi, or switch DNS to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8. Your internet provider may also have an outage of its own - check its status page or social accounts.
