Common Xbox Live error messages
"Can't connect to the Xbox network"
The console could not reach the Xbox network; run the network test in Settings and check the status above.
"Sign-in failed"
If it hits many people at once, it is usually on Microsoft's side and shows above as an account problem.
If the status above is green but Xbox Live still fails
- Settings - General - Network settings - Test network connection.
- If only one game fails, its own servers may be down while Xbox is fine.
- Restart the console fully (hold the power button for 10 seconds), not just sleep mode.
